Hope Air is pleased to announce that TC Energy Corp’s most recent gift of $15,000 has made the company a top tier or “Captain’s Circle” donor, indicating that in aggregate they have given a total contribution of $100,000 or more over the years. A long time supporter of Hope Air’s mission, TC Energy Corp’s generosity over the years has supported the purchase of over 400 Hope Air flights for patients in Alberta and British Columbia to access medical care.
Hope Air is the only charity that provides free flights for Canadians in financial need, for patients of all ages travelling for all medical needs. Without the vital service Hope Air provides, 34 per cent of the patients we serve would cancel or postpone their medical appointments, putting their health at risk. Another 35 per cent would travel by bus or car 4-12+ hours each way to access the medical care they need.
With donations from several of their pipeline projects, TC Energy Crop. has provided help to people in the communities in northern Alberta and northern and interior B.C. that many of TC Energy’s employees call home.
“Through TC Energy Corp’s ongoing support, Hope Air patients are able to access this vital link to medical treatments, specialists and equipment that aren’t offered in their home communities.” says Hope Air CEO Doug Keller-Hobson. “TC Energy’s generosity allows families experiencing illness or injury to spend less time worrying about the cost of travel and more time focused on getting better.”
