Volunteer on Location

On-location volunteers are skilled individuals who are willing to attend special events held in their local communities and contribute talents such as photography, videography, and public speaking.
To apply to volunteer on location for Hope Air, please email mail@hopeair.ca with your resume, a cover letter, and portfolio (if applicable).

Examples of roles that are performed by on-location volunteers include:

  • Photographer, to take photographs for publication in Hope Air newsletters and digital platforms
  • Videographer, to help capture and document patient stories and local community events
  • Ambassador, to share with local communities the impact that free flights to healthcare has on patients

Hope Air COVID Policy

All volunteers who volunteer with Hope Air, including as part of the Volunteer Pilot program, are required to provide an attestation to confirm their COVID-19 vaccination status. Hope Air reserves the right to verify the accuracy of attestations. Any misrepresentation of information may result in the termination of a volunteer’s relationship with Hope Air.

Volunteers who are unable to be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons or who choose not to be vaccinated for personal reasons should declare that through the attestation process.
