CAA Club Group unveils significant funds to support patients in need

(November 28, 2023) Hope Air is thrilled to share CAA Club group has generously donated $200,000 in support of Canadians in financial need who must travel to access vital medical care far from home. The funds were raised during CAA’s Annual Golf Tournament in September which saw over 300 participants.

The tournament not only highlights CAA’s commitment to Hope Air’s mission, but also the incredible impact Hope Air has had on patients like Heidi and her daughter Zoe, who shared their journey at this year’s event. Zoe was born with a rare blood disorder that requires her to receive blood transfusions every 10 days. This type of care is not available to Zoe is Windsor, so she and her mother Heidi must travel to Toronto for Zoe’s transfusions. Through flights and accommodations provided by Hope Air, they can now fly comfortably to their appointments, eliminating the need for long, uncomfortable car rides.

CAA has been an unwavering supporter of Hope Air’s mission for many years. Since 2017 Hope Air has been the beneficiary of this annual tournament and over $1.5 million has been donated to bridge the distance between home and hospital for Canadians.

Hope Air is grateful for CAA’s support in helping ensure all Canadians have access to the healthcare they need. Thank you, CAA Club Group, and all the tournament participants for your commitment to making a difference.
