Seniors Advocate of BC Report recommends promotion of Hope Air services

On February 15th the Seniors Advocate of BC released a report detailing the the challenges faced by BC Seniors. Hope Air understands the difficulties that all people living in rural and remote communities face when accessing vital medical care and we are eager to collaborate to ensure health care is more accessible for all Canadians.

Bringing more attention to the inequities experienced by seniors living in rural BC when accessing health care and solutions, the report makes seven recommendations, one of which includes to Improve and Better Promote both the Provincial Travel Assistance Program (TAP) and Hope Air. We are proud to be a part of the recommended solutions to better support seniors as they navigate access to vital medical care.

We acknowledge that we live and work on the unceded, traditional territories of many Indigenous peoples. We are grateful for the privilege of being on lands that these peoples have nurtured since time immemorial.
