Hope Air announces the appointment of
Rohit Joshi to Board of Directors

Hope Air – a national charity providing Canadians in financial need with flights and accommodations to access medical care far from home – announced today the appointment of Rohit Joshi to the Hope Air Board of Directors.

Rohit is the co-founder and CEO of Brightsquid Secure Communications Corp., Canada’s leading compliant communications services provider for the health care industry – connecting the entire health care community around each patient. With an extensive background in both medical science and law, Rohit has been at the forefront of patient-centered communication and virtual care. His work includes overcoming privacy barriers to establish digital communication networks between health care providers and patients.

“We are delighted to welcome Rohit to the Hope Air Board of Directors,” said David Garner, Chair of the Board of Directors. “As an entrepreneur working in the rapidly evolving digital health care system, his experience will be invaluable to Hope Air as we evolve our programs and services.”

“I’m excited to share my expertise in digital health to help support patients with Hope Air,” said Rohit Joshi. “Improving access to care for all Canadians, no matter their location, is an important mission that aligns perfectly with our work at Brightsquid and is so necessary for the sustainability of public health care in Canada.”
