Once your travel request is approved, Hope Air will email you instructions on how to redeem or receive the travel support that you applied for. These instructions will be sent to the email address you provided in your application.
Gas Card: You will receive an email with a link to your virtual Esso gas card. You can print this gas card or download it to your phone.
Confederation Bridge: Patients travelling across the Confederation Bridge will receive a $120 digital Esso gas voucher to help offset the cost of driving to medical appointments.
Please note: To simplify travel support for patients, the previous Prince Edward Island Bridge Pass program and gas voucher program have been combined into a single enhanced travel support benefit. The $120 Esso gas voucher is intended to help offset overall travel expenses, including fuel and bridge-related travel costs. Patients travelling across the Confederation Bridge will need to pay the toll separately at the time of crossing, via credit/debit card or cash.
Northumberland Ferry: Patients travelling via the Northumberland Ferry will receive a $100 digital Esso gas voucher plus are eligible to advance book a free ferry crossing.
Instructions on how to book and redeem your ferry crossing will be provided by email upon approval along with your gas card.
