Hope Air has partnered with Health PEI to provide Out– of– Province (OOP) ground travel support to offset the cost of driving off-island for specialized insured medical care for eligible PEI residents. This program is designed to assist those with a medical appointment covered and insured by Health PEI , who must travel via vehicle across the Confederation Bridge or via the Northumberland Ferry to locations in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick. A valid Out-of-Province Approval Letter from Health PEI is required to qualify for this program. This must be attached to your application to ensure you have been approved to receive medical treatment out of province.
