Since our founding in 1986, we have made a promise to Canadians in need: that distance and cost will not be a barrier to reaching critical medical care. Promise Made. Promise Kept.

Thanks to your continued belief in and support of Hope Air’s work, we are delivering on the promise of universal health care for all.

In 2025, Hope Air delivered 10,488 medical trips for patients and their caregivers across Canada. This includes a record high of 14,229 airline flights for patients living in over 700 rural, remote, or underserved communities. From Gander, Newfoundland & Labrador, to Terrace, British Columbia, and everywhere in between, Hope Air has been there to answer the call for help.

Hope Air patients also received other critical medical travel support services, including hotel accommodations, meals, and airport ground transportation from airport to hospital. In 2025, we delivered over 37,768 travel arrangements in total.

None of this would be remotely possible without your commitment to our mission, that distance, cost, or circumstances should never stand between a patient and the medical care they need. For so many, travel for medical care would otherwise be unaffordable or out of reach, resulting in delayed or cancelled appointments and worse health outcomes.

Because of your support, thousands of patients were able to reach care on time and move forward with treatment.
