Hope Air welcomes Rebecca Francis to the Advisory Council

(October 8, 2025) Hope Air is pleased to welcome Rebecca Francis to its National Advisory Council. A multifaceted professional, Rebecca brings a dynamic blend of leadership, analytical insight, and community engagement to the Council’s mission.

Currently serving as Head of Research & Market Analyst at Levaero Aviation, Rebecca leads market intelligence and strategic analysis for Canada’s largest business aviation provider. Her financial services experience includes advisory and investment roles with Scotia Wealth Management, BMO Nesbitt Burns, and CIBC, where she developed tailored solutions for clients and supported high-performing teams.

Outside of her professional work, Rebecca is deeply involved in volunteer leadership, serving as Head of Sponsorships for Parkinson Canada’s Women for Parkinson’s initiative, the incoming Chair of IADA NextGen’s Networking Committee, and a former mentor with Right To Play. She is also a long-time advocate for women in finance through her memberships with 100 Women in Finance and VersaFi (formerly Women in Capital Markets). Rebecca has also taken her knowledge of aviation to new heights and recently obtained her Private Pilot License.

“I am honoured to join Hope Air’s National Advisory Council,” said Rebecca. “Through my experiences in finance, aviation, and community leadership, I’ve seen the transformative power of removing barriers – whether in access to capital, opportunity, or care. Hope Air’s mission to connect Canadians with the medical care they need, regardless of distance, is one I wholeheartedly believe in. Aviation is grounded in safety, and its power lies in the access and security it provides – ensuring no one is left behind.”

“Rebecca’s breadth of experience across industries, combined with her leadership in both professional and volunteer spheres, makes her an exceptional addition to our Advisory Council,” said Mark Rubinstein, Chief Hope Officer at Hope Air. “Her strategic mindset and dedication to community impact will strengthen our ability to reach more patients across Canada.”
