Her portfolio of responsibilities includes the deepening of Hope Air stakeholder relationships with government, health authorities, airline and airport partners volunteers, donors, and other members of the Hope Air community. Building on Hope Air’s 35 years of program delivery in Atlantic Canada, Jaclyn will provide leadership in our commitment to meet the ongoing and growing demand for Hope Air medical travel programs.

“We are delighted to welcome Jaclyn to the Hope Air team,” said Mark Rubinstein, Chief Hope Officer. “Her experience in advocacy and stakeholder relationships, will significantly contribute to our ability to continue to meet the needs of patients across Atlantic Canada. We are confident that Jaclyn will support our growth and impact to bridge the distance between home and hospital for patients in need.”
“I’ve been an advocate for improved and more efficient health care delivery for many years,” said Jaclyn Sullivan. “All Canadians deserve equitable access to health care, regardless of where they are located. For those living in rural areas, reliable transportation is often the only way we can deliver this. Hope Air’s programming helps people in need get that access to diagnostics and care, supplementing government programming for those most in need at their most vulnerable time. I can’t wait to get to work promoting and expanding the important work of Hope Air in Atlantic Canada.”
Jaclyn will join Hope Air effective August 19, 2024.
About Hope Air
Hope Air is Canada’s national charity providing free travel support through flights, accommodations, meals and ground transportation for Canadians in financial need who must access medical care far from home. Since its inception in 1986, Hope Air has provided more than 200,000 travel arrangements for patients regardless of age or medical need. For people living on a low income in small and rural communities, distance and cost are very real barriers to them accessing vital medical care. Hope Air is a unique and essential part of our Canadian healthcare system. Without the free access to health care that Hope Air provides, our national system of universal healthcare coverage would fall short of its promise. For more information, visit hopeair.ca.
