Hope Air announces the appointment of Stephanie Aldridge as Vice-President, Patient Experience.

(January 20, 2025) Hope Air announced today the appointment of Stephanie Aldridge to the position of Vice-President, Patient Experience. In this newly created role, Stephanie will lead Hope Air client care operations, focused on providing exceptional experiences for Hope Air patients. This includes the enhancement of our processes, technology and people to continue to deliver excellent patient centric programs for our clients.

Stephanie presently serves as Executive Director, B.C. operations for Hope Air. She will maintain these responsibilities in addition to her new role announced today.

Prior to joining Hope Air in 2023, Stephanie served as the Executive Director for the Capilano Community Services Society, a social services organization serving vulnerable people in North Vancouver. Stephanie’s experience also includes executive roles with BC Cancer, including leadership in the development of BC Cancer’s new strategic plan for the delivery of cancer services in British Columbia. She has a background in radiation therapy and held roles leading clinical operations and as faculty with BCIT.

“We are delighted to welcome Stephanie to this new leadership role within Hope Air,” said Mark Rubinstein, Chief Hope Officer. “She is uniquely qualified to take on this most important portfolio focused on the patient experience within our charity. She is a proven leader with a deep understanding of health care delivery and the critical role that Hope Air plays in connecting patients to the health care they require, when travelling long distance”.

“The need for Hope Air’s services has never been greater; people need our support now more than ever” said Stephanie Aldridge. “I’m excited to work with our incredible team in this new capacity to ensure we can continue to deliver exceptional patient experiences as Hope Air grows and evolves to meet this unprecedented demand. ”

About Hope Air
Hope Air is Canada’s national charity providing free travel support through flights, accommodations, meals and ground transportation for Canadians in financial need who must access medical care far from home. Since its inception in 1986, Hope Air has provided more than 200,000 travel arrangements for patients regardless of age or medical need. For people living on a low income in small and rural communities, distance and cost are very real barriers to them accessing vital medical care. Hope Air is a unique and essential part of our Canadian healthcare system. Without the free access to health care that Hope Air provides, our national system of universal healthcare coverage would fall short of its promise. For more information, visit hopeair.ca
